Speakers purchased for person who needed TV volume set very high to hear clearly. Placed the two speakers behind her sitting area, TV sound level now at a more normal level. The adjustable volume on these speakers gives her the flexibility that she needs. These speakers are not designed to be high quality speakers for a fancy audio system, but for our needs they function as expected.

Better than expected for the price. Very nice looking, not bad sound. Used them on a bedroom tv with very tinny sound. These speakers made a noticeable improvement with tv. Not boselike but worth the money.

These speakers easily serve their purpose. My main needs were: Enough sound to travel from our small kitchen to our living room and vice versa (they do), plugs into headphone jack (to play music from my Droid as well as iPod, they do), light and easy to move (pretty easy). My only comment would be that moving them from one room to another, which I do fairly often, feels a little cumbersome because they're connected to each other and there are a bunch of cords - i.e., a single docked speaker with a battery option would be better for that purpose. But they're not too difficult to move either, they sound really good and loud enough and they look good.
